Where friends meet

I'm glad our home is a place where friends can meet. Or even re-unite, as was the case last week when John, Lilly, Marvin, Yvonne, Sarah and Colleen were here one evening. It had been awhile since they had seen each other.
This morning I hosted a brunch for some of my "goldie-oldie" friends because Mary Elaine is here visiting her dad and this helped her see her moms friends without going all over town. It was fun to hear them tell some of the funny things that have happened in their lives and reminisce. You should heard their stories and the laughter that followed. While we were eating one of them noticed a spruce grouse trying to find something to eat on the hill so we had fun watching his progress as we ate our brunch.
